Our first-year Baccalaureate students have experienced a unique adventure on their end-of-year trip to London. From 3rd to 7th March, they explored a vibrant city full of history, culture and magical moments that they will undoubtedly remember forever.

From the very first moment, excitement filled the air at the airport. After landing in London, the city welcomed us with its fast-paced energy and lively streets. Strolling through Piccadilly Circus, wandering through the hidden corners of Chinatown and Covent Garden or admiring the grandeur of Trafalgar Square were just the beginning of an adventure that allowed us to discover the city from many different perspectives.

Each day was packed with activities that immersed us in the essence of London. We experienced the magic of Platform 9¾ at King’s Cross, visited the impressive Emirates Stadium of Arsenal, explored the charismatic Camden Town and enjoyed the bustling Oxford Street. Moments of awe followed as we admired Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace, where we had the chance to witness the famous Changing of the Guard. We also delved into culture at the National Gallery and the British Museum, discovering the artistic and historical treasures they safeguard.

One of the most eagerly awaited moments was the night of Mamma Mia! at the Novello Theatre. The music, the energy of the performance and the special bond between students and teachers made it one of the most memorable nights of the trip. The next day, still buzzing from the experience, we wandered through the charming neighbourhood of Notting Hill and explored Portobello Market, captivated by its unique atmosphere.

This trip was not only an opportunity to discover London but also to grow together, strengthen friendships and share experiences that will stay with us forever. On the final day, as the plane carried us home, a sense of gratitude and joy was reflected in everyone’s eyes.

Thank you, London, for these unforgettable days. And thank you to every student and teacher for making this trip such a special experience. We leave with the memory of a city that has truly enchanted us and with the desire to continue exploring the world together!
